Behind the Show: Notes from the Runway
A fashion show lasts fifteen minutes. Preparing it takes six months.
Backstage, hours before the first look walks out, the atelier is a quiet storm: rails of silk shirts arranged by exit order, embroiderers making final touches, stylists pinning, steaming, adjusting. Then the lights go down, the first chords rise, and the collection finally meets its audience.
This season's show was imagined as a voyage: guests seated around a sun-bleached tennis court, models emerging through arches of orange trees. Silk sets in gradient sunset tones opened the show, followed by tailored looks in cream and racing green, and a finale of crochet and gold under a shower of confetti.
More than a presentation, the show is a statement of intent: fashion, for us, should feel like a holiday you never want to leave.
